Clinical Practicum Opportunities

During certain times of the year (space permitting), we are able to accept Master's-level students for a clinical practicum at Safe Space Counselling Service.

If you are a Master's student in a psychology program interested in doing a clinical practicum:

  • Intake is now open until August 9, 2024, for clinical practicum placements beginning August/September 2024. To apply, please email your resume and cover letter to: info@safespacecounselling.ca Experience working with families, neurodiversity and diverse/BIPOC populations is an asset, as well as training, experience and/or interest in attachment-focused, relational, somatic and/or anti-oppressive approaches. As our practicum includes delivery of services both in person and virtually, please note your availability for in-person sessions with clients, as well as for supervision. The deadline for applying is August 9, 2024. While we greatly appreciate the interest of each applicant, due to the large number of applications we receive, only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
  • For clinical practicum placements beginning 2025 onward, intake Information will become available in October/November 2024. Please check this page again then for more information.

If you are a professional or post-practicum student looking for clinical supervision/consultation:
