About

Kushal (she/her) is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) who supports teens and adults, couples, and families, often for issues such as self‑compassion, boundaries, relationship and family conflict, intergenerational or immigration‑related stress, and neurodiversity (including ADHD/OCD/autism‑related concerns). Her style is warm, collaborative, and culturally attuned. She offers therapy in English and Punjabi, in‑person and online, with day/evening/weekend options. Beyond the counselling space, Kushal spends time with family, friends, her dog, prioritizing movement, and time outdoors.

Kushal offers individual, couples and family therapy in English and Punjabi and may be booked for in-person, phone or video sessions, with day/evening/weekend options.

How I Can Help You

If you’re looking to put yourself back at the centre of your life, I may be a good fit. I often work with teens and adults who have spent years prioritizing school, work, or family, and now want to build self‑compassion, confidence, and steadier coping. This could include navigating anxiety or low mood, relationship or family conflict, life transitions, or questions about identity, culture, and values. I also support clients with immigrant and collectivist backgrounds who want space to honour their roots while finding their own voice.

Approach

My style is warm, curious, and collaborative. We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable, beginning with what matters most to you. I tend to slow things down so we can notice emotions in the moment and respond with care rather than habit. With couples and families, I focus on patterns, repair, and safer communication. I welcome neurodiversity and aim to create a space that is respectful, culturally attuned, and practical.

Through my clinical experience, I have developed a flexible and integrative approach, drawing from a variety of therapeutic approaches to support couples and individuals. I value creating a compassionate, collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their growth.

I offer sessions in English and Punjabi.
