How I Can Help You
If you’re ready to put your well-being first and build steadier self‑trust, I may be a good fit. I often meet adults who want to calm racing thoughts and anxiety, work through depression or grief, and shift old beliefs that no longer fit. Some are healing from past abuse (and are now in a safe place). Many want clearer boundaries, less guilt and self‑judgment, and more compassion for themselves.
I also welcome clients from diverse cultures and minority communities. I offer therapy in English and Spanish.
My style is empathic, respectful, and collaborative. Together, we’ll go at a pace that feels safe for you.
I use an Adlerian, meaning‑centred approach to gently explore how earlier experiences and beliefs may shape patterns you may be experiencing in the present. I also bring practical tools to support calm and clarity. We might try brief grounding practices (like short, simple meditations), notice body cues, and build skills for boundaries and self‑advocacy.
My hope is that therapy feels non‑judgmental, culturally sensitive, and empowering.

FAQ
What happens in the first session?
We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you hope might change, and what feels most important right now. We’ll set a simple plan and next steps together.
Do you work with people healing from abuse?
I can support clients who are now in a safe situation to process and heal. I’m not an emergency or crisis service; if safety is urgent, we can discuss crisis options and community resources.
Do you offer therapy in Spanish?
Yes. I offer counselling in English and Spanish.
Will we use meditation?
If you’re open to it, I may suggest brief grounding or breathing practices. We’ll keep things simple and adapt to what feels helpful.
Do you offer low-fee or free therapy?
Yes, depending on caseload capacity. Please mention your needs when you reach out and see: Rates & Policies.
Do you offer virtual and in‑person sessions?
Yes, both. I offer in‑person sessions in Vancouver and secure sessions by video or phone.
