To prevent transmission of COVID-19, we are currently implementing the following:
- Sanitation: Furniture and high-touch surfaces in the counselling room are being sanitized between sessions.
- Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer is located near the elevator on each floor and inside the counselling office.
- Physical Distancing:
- Furniture in the counselling room is spaced more than 2 meters apart.
- The waiting room contains seating for only 1 person/family.
- PPE: Face masks are worn at all times. Staff may also be wearing a face shield.
- Contactless Payment Options:
- Online billing and Interac e-Transfer are accepted for contactless payment.
- Tap is also available offered for clients whose credit cards permit transactions above $100.
- Water and tea are no longer being provided in the waiting area. We apologize for this inconvenience.
For your in-person appointment:
- Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building/office.
- Please arrive no earlier than 5-10 minutes before your session. When you arrive, please wait outside the building and send a text message or call your counsellor to check that it is safe to enter. (This is to limit the number of people in the office.)
- Please attend your appointment alone or only with the participating family members.
- Face masks are to be worn at all times by clients and staff inside the building/office, including during your counselling appointment, as per current Public Health Orders. Your counsellor may also wear a face shield.
- Most importantly: If you are feeling unwell, even if symptoms are minor (e.g. a minor cold or allergies), please DO NOT come to the office. Instead, please request to change your session to a video or phone session for the same time.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience in helping to keep everyone healthy and safe.
