To prevent transmission of COVID-19, we are currently implementing the following:
- Sanitation: Furniture and high-touch surfaces are sanitized between sessions.
- Hand Sanitizer: Hand sanitizer is provided.
- Physical Distancing: Furniture in the counselling room is spaced more than 2 meters apart to allow social distancing.
- Face Masks: Face masks are optional, but recommended. Please note that your counsellor may be wearing a face mask and face shield.
- Reception behind glass barrier or available by bell: Reception is seated behind a glass barrier or accessible by ringing the bell at the front desk to reduce exposure (hand sanitizer available on front desk).
- Contactless Payment Options: Credit card / preauthorized billing and Interac e-Transfer accepted for contactless payment.
For your in-person appointment:
- Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your session. If you arrive early, please wait outside the building to limit the number of people in the office.
- Please wash your hands or use hand sanitizer upon entering the building/office.
- Please attend your appointment alone or only with participating family members.
- Face masks are optional, but recommended. Please note that your counsellor may be wearing a face mask and face shield.
- If your appointment is before 10:30am or if reception is unavailable, please call or text your counsellor to let them know you have arrived. The front door of the building is locked before 10:30am.
- Most importantly: If you are feeling unwell, even if symptoms are minor (e.g. a minor cold or allergies), please DO NOT come to the office. Instead, you may request to change your session to a video or phone session for the same time.
Thank you for your cooperation and patience in helping to keep everyone healthy and safe.
